New Books Added to the Collection

Posted by Eric Dillalogue, Library Specialist

There is a special joy every librarian experiences when a box filled with new library materials arrives. A mix of intellectual curiosity and Christmas-morning anticipation fills the air, punctuated by backroom squeals of excitement. Of course, the librarians at FKCC are always professional, so there was limited squealing.

This week we received new books on diverse topics, such as: Abraham Lincoln (purchased with funds received from the wonderful Lincoln Exhibit), critical thinking skills, PowerPoint tips, mangroves, and job-hunting. These books will be placed on the New Book shelves, located directly across from the circulation desk. Stop in today for a great read!  (Click the blog title to read more and to see the books added!)
